Sisnate, an acronym for natural effluent treatment system, is a biotechnology company that develops and sells projects, installs and provides support for containers or natural and sustainable water treatment stations for reuse in desalination processes in effluent treatment and in domestic, commercial and industrial sanitary treatment. In recent decades, humanity has been losing water resources at an alarming rate. With only 0.07% of the world's water available for consumption it is safe to say; our planet is thirsty. Companies around the world spend billions of dollars on water reuse facilities with the intention of reversing this situation, however many of the processes are high-cost, produce a lot of waste, are time-consuming or ineffective. Analyzing the unpromising future that the current situation seems to present, Sisnate® found in nature a sustainable and efficient solution for water reuse.
Formally founded on September 15, 1993, SISNATE® today has a modern manufacturing park, a laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment and apparatus and qualified personnel that guarantee the effectiveness of services and products. The dream of its founder and inventor, Galdino Santana de Limas, is now a reality in several regions of the country and abroad.
The company currently has representation throughout the national territory, in addition to entering the European and MERCOSUR markets. There are more than 1000 treatment plants installed in the states of: Santa Catarina, Paraná, Rio Grande do Norte, Pernambuco, Piauí, Ceará, Alagoas, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás, Tocantins and Minas Gerais.
Our treatment is mainly concentrated on sanitary sewage, swimming pool wastewater, various industries and leachate. Our team is made up of Biologists, Engineers (Chemical, Sanitary and Environmental), hydraulic technicians and designers.
